Congress surprised by quick nod for Rahul Gandhi's Mumbai rally

The urban development department granted permission for Rahul Gandhi's rally at Shivaji Park on March 17. BMC quickly processed the file and laid down four conditions. Congress had shortlisted two more venues and expected a long wait from BMC. The rally is part of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, and CMs of Congress- and non-BJP governed states are expected to join.
