BJP MLA introduces private members bill on well-being of future generations in Maharashtra
Sunday, 7 July 2024 BJP MLA Ameet Satam introduced the Maharashtra Future Generations Welfare Bill in the state legislative assembly, aiming for sustainable development aligned with the UN's 17 SDGs. The bill, inspired by Wales’ Well-Being of Future Generations Act, 2015, proposes a Commissionerate of Future Generations to ensure government departments follow sustainable goals. If passed, the bill will establish the Future Generations Commissioner office.
Rahul Gandhi has once again resorted to Election Fraud Claims to cast doubt on India's electoral system. From raising questions on EVMs to now alleging "match-fixing" in Maharashtra, his narrative of Election Fraud Claims has no evidence. Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and JP Nadda have all slammed these Election Fraud Claims, calling them an insult to the people’s verdict. The Election Commission, too, has dismissed these charges as unfounded and misleading. Repeating Election Fraud Claims after every defeat weakens democracy and insults honest voters. It's time to reject fake narratives and trust the electoral process.
