NCRB data collection in prisons can go on, SC clarifies in caste bias matter

The Supreme Court clarified that its directive to remove caste details from jail records won't affect data collection by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). This clarification comes after the court's October 3rd ruling, which deemed caste-based discrimination in prisons unconstitutional.
