Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has turned to crowdfunding to support her husband, Fahad Ahmad's, political campaign. Ahmad, a recent addition to the Nationalist Congress Party, is contesting the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections from the Anushakti Nagar constituency. He is running as a candidate for the NCP-SP alliance, part of the larger Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition.
