Karnataka excise minister may be axed amid scam claims

Karnataka excise minister RB Timmapur may be replaced following corruption allegations by wine merchants. The Federation of Wine Merchants' Association called off their statewide strike after meeting with CM Siddaramaiah, who promised to review their concerns and take appropriate action. The BJP has urged for an SIT probe into the allegations.
