Newlywed killed by husband in UP over Rs 5,000 demand

A 22-year-old woman was killed by her husband in Dhampur, Bijnor district, over her family’s inability to provide Rs 5,000. The husband, Shoeb Ahmad, demanded money from his in-laws and, upon their refusal, fatally assaulted his wife. Police have detained Shoeb and his father, Anees Ahmad, and an investigation is ongoing.
