26 bonded labourers rescued from charcoal unit in Pune, 1 arrested

Indapur police and revenue officials rescued 26 bonded workers from a charcoal unit in Girvi village, arresting its owner under multiple laws. The workers, held without pay, were freed after an NGO lodged a complaint. Further investigations into the unit's registration are ongoing.
