Sunil Bharti Mittal honoured with Knight Commander title for his contributions to UK-India business ties
Saturday, 22 February 2025 Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises, received the Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his contributions to UK-India business relations. The honor was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi by the British High Commissioner to India, Lindy Cameron.
Jo Hamilton, campaigner and former sub-postmistress, is made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by the Princess Royal at Buckingham Palace. Mrs Hamilton, who was played by Monica Dolan in the drama Mr Bates Vs The Post Office, said being honoured for services to justice by the Princess Royal at Buckingham Palace on Thursday was “wonderful”.
