Rescue teams reach tunnel’s collapsed roof’s final point

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have reached the final section of the collapsed Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel, where eight workers have been trapped since February 22. Heavy water and slush continue to impede rescue efforts, but dewatering operations are ongoing in hopes of finding survivors.
