SP MLA Abu Azmi gets pre-arrest bail in Aurangzeb remarks case

A Mumbai sessions court granted anticipatory bail to SP MLA Abu Asim Azmi, who faced charges for his remarks eulogizing Mughal ruler Aurangzeb that allegedly hurt Hindu religious sentiments. Azmi must present a bond of Rs 20,000, provide a solvent surety, and appear before the investigating officer on specified dates.
