Accused in UP rightwing neta Kamlesh Tewari’s murder planned Nagpur riots, say investigators

Syed Asim Ali, an alleged conspirator in Kamlesh Tewari's 2019 murder, is suspected of orchestrating the March 17 Nagpur riots. Intelligence agencies have tracked Ali at riot epicentres through CCTV footage and phone records, but he is currently untraceable and believed to have mobilised youth for the planned violence.
