Madhya Pradesh village tense as Ambedkar statues stolen from same spot twice in a day
Thursday, 8 May 2025 () Tensions erupted in Jaitpura village, Dhar district, following the theft of a Dr. BR Ambedkar statue from the Indore-Ahmedabad highway. A replacement statue was also stolen, intensifying outrage among locals and Bhim Army members. Police have registered a case, are reviewing CCTV footage, and have launched a large-scale investigation to apprehend the culprits and maintain law and order.
