Following the death of Vaishnavi Hagawane, allegedly by suicide, Chief Minister Fadnavis has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter, treating it as a potential murder. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expelled Rajendra Hagawane from NCP and assured Vaishnavi's father of justice. Police have arrested Vaishnavi's husband, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, while Rajendra and another relative are absconding.
