Following a stampede at Royal Challengers Bangalore's victory march in Bengaluru, which resulted in 11 deaths, the BJP has fiercely criticized the Congress-led Karnataka government. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra held CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar responsible, demanding their resignation. Patra questioned the event's organization, crowd control, and continuation of celebrations amidst the tragedy, calling it a 'government-manufactured tragedy'.
