India's annual mean temperature has risen significantly from 2001 to 2024, with 2024 being the hottest year on record. Renewable energy generation has tripled in the last decade, while thermal power generation has also increased. The country boasts a rich faunal diversity and has seen growth in inland fish production, alongside shifts in rainfall patterns.
