CPI (Maoist) central committee member, 2 others gunned down

In Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Sitarama Raju district, senior Maoist leader Gajarla Ravi, a CPI(Maoist) central committee member, was killed in an encounter with police. Two other Naxal leaders, Aruna and Anju, were also eliminated during the operation. Gajarla Ravi is the fifth CC member to be killed this year, reducing the committee's strength.
