CPI city leader K Chandu Rathod was fatally shot in Hyderabad's Malakpet during his morning walk. Assailants in a white Swift ambushed Rathod, throwing chilli powder before firing multiple rounds. He died instantly. Police suspect a feud with a CPI (ML) leader from Devarpula, based on family statements.
