'Milestone moment': Army receives first batch of Apache helicopters from US; to be deployed in Jodhpur
Tuesday, 22 July 2025 Three AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, part of a Rs 5,691 crore deal with the US, have arrived at Hindon Air Force Station, enhancing the Indian Army's offensive capabilities. A devastating cloudburst has hit Dharali in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, killing at least four people and leaving many missing. The Kheer Gadh river swelled violently, sweeping away homes, hotels, and entire villages near Harsil in seconds. Visuals show buildings crumbling under massive floodwaters.
