Mumbai was severely disrupted by heavy rainfall on Tuesday, leading to the evacuation of 400 residents near the Mithi River and widespread waterlogging. Transportation was significantly affected, with flight diversions, train delays, and numerous bus route diversions. One person died from electrocution, and the city experienced its wettest August in five years, with continued showers expected.
