Thursday, 8 May 2025 () A pesky investigator is doing his best to destroy one of my upgraded rooms and I unfortunately have no cards that can physically hurt him. But I do have the option of separating him from his buddy, which then means the house can attack his mind using a two mana drain card. His mind isn’t shattered yet, but I will probably take him down during my next turn. Meanwhile, another human group is pushing through one kitchen, heading directly toward the pulsating center of the house. The roaming ghost isn’t helping much but I do get a good card that allows me to lock down a room. Thankfully, no one has a gun in this group. I end the turn by putting a hex on a human who’s wandering through a guest room. In the end, one of the nighttime invaders sees the heart and two manage to flee but four are down, three dead and one insane. I get a solid physical damage card and consider whether their essence is best used to build more rooms close to the house’s entrance or to upgrade an...
