FIFA report warned of World Cup time zone issues - as Infantino threatens blackout
Tuesday, 2 May 2023 FIFA President Gianni Infantino has threatened not to show the Women's World Cup in five European countries - including Britain - in a cash row despite internal warnings about the time zone before Australia and New Zealand were selected as hosts.
Sidelined by football's governing body, the unofficial 1971 Women's World Cup tournament faded into obscurity. Now, a film executive produced by Venus and Serena Williams seeks to restore its rightful place in history as one of the most significant events ever held.
