Malaysia court throws out abuse of power charges against former PM Muhyiddin

Former Malaysian prime minister and opposition leader, Muhyiddin Yassin, has seen charges of abuse of power dismissed by a Kuala Lumpur high court. Muhyiddin, 76, who led Malaysia from 2020 to 2021, was accused in March of misuse of power. The court deemed the four charges flawed, vague, and unfounded, awarding Muhyiddin acquittal.
