Journalist in Pakistan arrested for spreading "anti-state" narrative, remanded in FIA custody for two days

Journalist Muhammad Khalid Jamil has been remanded in custody by an Islamabad court for two days. He was arrested on charges of spreading a provocative narrative against state institutions through his social media posts. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) accused Jamil of sharing intimidating content and false information that could incite harm against the state or public tranquility.
