Flooded homes, streets as another storm hits battered central Greece
Thursday, 28 September 2023 Torrential rain in central Greece has caused severe flooding in the city of Volos, just three weeks after Storm Daniel killed 16 people in the region. Over 250 people have been evacuated, and the fire brigade has received 1,200 calls for help. Power outages have left 80% of the city in darkness, and all vehicles have been stopped from going on the roads.
