Saturday, 14 October 2023 New Zealand's centre-right National Party, led by Christopher Luxon, is poised to form a new government with its preferred coalition party ACT, as early results indicate they may secure a majority in the general election. The National Party had 41% of the votes, while the governing Labour Party had 26%.
