As Gaza death toll rises, bodies are stored in ice cream trucks

IndiaTimes Sunday, 15 October 2023
Health officials in Gaza are storing the bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli air strikes in ice cream freezer trucks due to the lack of space in hospitals and cemeteries. The Israeli bombardment is in response to an attack by Hamas, resulting in a devastating war with high casualties. Hospitals are struggling to cope with the growing number of wounded and supplies are running low. Authorities are preparing mass graves to bury the dead as cemeteries are already full.
