Israel-Hamas Conflict: Dead bodies being stored in ice-cream trucks in Gaza

IndiaTimes Sunday, 15 October 2023
Due to a shortage of cemetery space in the Gaza Strip, health officials have begun storing dead bodies in ice cream trucks. The situation in Palestine has worsened after Israel's fierce bombing campaign, leading to a high death toll. The Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital's morgue can only accommodate 10 bodies, so ice cream freezers from factories are being used instead. The Israeli military is allowing Gazans to evacuate ahead of an expected ground assault.
