Cyclone 'Tej' expected to make landfall between Yemen and Oman on October 25

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Saturday said that the Severe Cyclonic Storm "Tej," has been steadily advancing over the southwest Arabian Sea. In the past 6 hours, the storm has moved west-northwestwards at a speed of 18 kmph. As of 1730 hours Indian Standard Time (IST) on October 21, "Tej" was positioned approximately 440 km east-southeast of Socotra, Yemen, 800 km south-southeast of Salalah, Oman, and 830 km southeast of Al Ghaidah, Yemen.
