Monday, 23 October 2023 Israeli strikes on Gaza have killed at least 70 people, according to Hamas officials. The Israeli military said it had targeted over 320 military sites in the Palestinian enclave in the past 24 hours. The strikes come after a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7. The violence has resulted in the deaths of at least 1,400 people in Israel and over 4,650 Palestinians, including many civilians and children. Tens of thousands of Israeli troops are now gathered along Gaza's borders in anticipation of a ground invasion.
