Trump fined $10,000 by judge over second gag order violation

IndiaTimes Thursday, 26 October 2023
Former President Donald Trump has been fined $10,000 for violating a gag order in the $250 million civil fraud trial against him in New York. Trump made comments to the press during a break, referring to a person sitting alongside the judge as "very partisan," which violated an order barring him from discussing the judge's law clerk. This is Trump's second violation of the gag order, for which he was fined $5,000 previously. The judge ruled Trump's explanation of his comments as "not credible."
