UN cites 'alarming' rise in Israeli army operations in West Bank

The United Nations rights office has raised concerns over the "alarming" conditions in the occupied West Bank, stating that Israeli forces are using military tactics and weapons in law enforcement operations. The spokesperson for the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights highlighted the escalating violence, with at least 132 Palestinians killed, including 41 children, since the violence intensified. The Israeli military has reported an increase in operations against militants, making numerous arrests.
