Drone attack targets Iraq's Harir base, sirens sound at US embassy

An armed drone targeted al-Harir airbase in northern Iraq, which hosts US forces. Sirens also sounded at the US embassy in Baghdad, but there were no reports of casualties. The attacks come amid heightened tensions and numerous attacks on U.S. and international forces in Iraq and Syria. The U.S. blames these attacks on groups supported by Iran. Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani has pledged to pursue those responsible for the attacks.
