Lone Palestinian-origin lawmaker censured in US House over stance

The US House voted the sole Palestinian American in Congress to censure her stance on the Israel-Hamas war. Democrat representative Rashida Tlaib was accused of "promoting false narratives" and of "calling for the destruction of the state of Israel." The vote was 234-188. The resolution specifically cited a video Tlaib published on social media containing the phrase "from the river to the sea."
