A new UN report reveals the devastating impact of the conflict in Palestine on the economy. The gross domestic product of the West Bank and Gaza has shrunk by 4% in the first month of war, leading to over 400,000 people falling into poverty. This economic impact is unseen in previous conflicts like Syria and Ukraine. If the war continues, the Palestinian GDP could drop by 8.4% in the second month and 12% in the third month, pushing more people into poverty.
