Pak's election body adjourns contempt case hearing against Imran Khan
Monday, 13 November 2023 Pakistan's top election body on Monday adjourned till December 6 the hearing of a contempt case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and others after they failed to appear before it. A four-member panel of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) conducted a hearing of the case about insulting the ECP chief. The accused, apart from Khan, include former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and federal ministers Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry. All of them were to be indicted during the hearing on Monday.
