Amid ongoing clashes in Myanmar; India issues travel advisory, asks its nationals to register at embassy in Yangon

India has issued an updated travel advisory for Indian nationals in response to the recent fights between rebel groups and the military junta in Myanmar. The Ministry of External Affairs advises Indian nationals to avoid non-essential travel to Myanmar and to take precautions if already living there. Indian nationals in Myanmar are also requested to register with the Embassy of India. India has called for an end to the violence and a resolution through constructive dialogue.
