Israeli airstrikes kill dozens more Palestinians across the Gaza Strip
Wednesday, 20 December 2023 Israeli troops raid hospitals in Gaza, detaining staff and destroying property. Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City and Al Awda hospital in northern Gaza are targeted by Israeli forces. The raids leave hospitals with limited staff and resources to care for wounded patients. The international aid group Doctors Without Borders condemns the raids and accuses Israel of endangering civilians. The UN Security Council postpones voting on a resolution calling for a halt in the fighting and humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza.
