Israel pounds Gaza as fears grow of push into Rafah

Israel is continuing its assault on the Gaza Strip, specifically targeting the city of Rafah. The city has become overcrowded with civilians who have been displaced by the war. The United Nations has expressed concern about the situation in Rafah, describing it as a 'pressure cooker of despair.' The city that had been home to 200,000 people now hosts more than half of Gaza's population, the United Nations said.
