Gaza government says Israel returned 47 exhumed bodies

Israel has returned dozens of bodies that were exhumed from graves in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run government media office. These bodies were taken by Israeli forces for examination as part of their search for hostages from Hamas's October 7 attack. In the past, AFP journalists have witnessed the reburial of bodies that were exhumed by Israeli forces in November, December, and January, as reported by Gaza officials.
