Japanese government arranging Quad foreign ministers meeting on sidelines of Trump's swearing-in ceremony
Monday, 13 January 2025 Japan is coordinating with the US, Australia, and India to hold a Quad foreign ministers meeting following the swearing-in of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20. Japanese Foreign Minister Iwaya Takeshi will attend the ceremony. The meeting aims to strengthen Indo-Pacific cooperation. Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will also attend the ceremony and meet with US officials.
