Amal, a 7-year-old girl, is wasting away after months with only the bare minimum of food. Her parents took her to the Nasser hospital in Gaza hoping doctors could help, but an aid blockade has left them with few supplies. There is water to hydrate her, but no food formula or medicines to give her back some strength. Dr Ahmad Al-Farra, the head of paediatrics at Nasser Hospital, says Amal is "one of the most serious cases in our nutrition department", having lost nearly 50% of her weight. At this hospital alone more than sixty children have died due to starvation. ITV News reports from the hospital in southern Gaza, where her father admits he is "deeply afraid of losing her", as her condition deteriorates. Report by Brooksl. Iran has firmly rejected the European Union’s renewed call for nuclear talks, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi slamming the West’s stance as “hypocritical” and “legally baseless.” Araghchi accused EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas of disregarding international law and supporting Israeli aggression in the region. Citing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and UNSC Resolution 2231, Tehran insists it has the right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. Araghchi further declared the EU and UK irrelevant in future negotiations and warned that Western pressure will only deepen mistrust. As tensions rise and the JCPOA framework continues to unravel, is the door to diplomacy closing for good?

The United States has abruptly paused deliveries of key military aid—air defence ammunition, missiles, and artillery shells—to Ukraine under Trump’s “America First” doctrine. Ukrainian MPs blasted this move, insisting “the United States is no longer our ally.” Mariana Bezuglaya and Solomiya Bobrovskaya accused the administration of sidelining Kyiv, even summoning the US chargé d’affaires to demand resumed support. President Trump told Zelensky at The Hague that US systems are “very hard to get” and prioritized for national and Israeli defense. Meanwhile, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed a “capability review” to align aid with US interests. Kiev warns that this retrenchment could empower Russian advances toward Dnipro and Sumy, diminishing Ukraine’s defence. Moscow, unburdened, claims strategic initiative on the frontline. The aid suspension represents a major shift in US foreign policy and risks weakening Ukraine’s resistance as the war grinds on.

Tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated once again after Tehran suspended cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) following US and Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities. US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce called Iran’s move "unacceptable" and urged Tehran to resume full cooperation under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
In this video, we break down what led to the latest nuclear standoff, the implications of Iran possibly exiting the NPT, the frozen US-Iran nuclear talks, and what Donald Trump and Biden are saying about sanctions and diplomacy. Will Iran return to the negotiating table, or are we on the brink of a new nuclear crisis?
Stay tuned as we unpack the geopolitical stakes, regional fallout, and what this means for global non-proliferation efforts.
