Covid-19: Tablighi Jamaat members break Ramzan fast to help patients

Members of Tablighi Jamaat, a religious outfit, are donating blood plasma.

Blood plasma of those recovered from Covid is used in an experimental therapy.

The Jamaatis are reportedly breaking their Ramzan fast to donate plasma.

The Tablighi Jamaat came into the spotlight due to its Delhi event in March.

A congregation of thousands amid restrictions in the national capital drew flak.

Tabligh also became a Covid 'super-spreader' after its members travelled to many parts of India.

The outfit's leadership had appealed to recovered members to donate blood plasma.
