The Governor Of Texas Thinks Expanding Voting-By-Mail Is A Scam By Democrats

Texas Lt.

Gov.

Dan Patrick called efforts to expand voting-by-mail a scam.

According to Business Insider, he thinks Democrats are doing this to steal the November election.

Patrick said there shouldn’t be any reason why “anyone under 65 should be able to say I am afraid to go vote.” The Texas Tribune said any Texas resident over the age of 65 or with a disability is currently eligible to vote by mail.

States around the U.S. are trying to expand voting by mail so people won’t have to risk in-person interactions.
