On Monday (July 13), a fire gutted the top floor of the World Trade Center, in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city.

The high-rise complex, which is located along Constitution Avenue, is still under construction.

Sabina Anyahaebizi, a 33-year-old civil servant, told Newsflare: "I was driving past the World Trade Center building and saw a thick haze of smoke coming out of the building.

It looked very much like a fire, although I didn't see any fire flames, only thick smoke." According to local media, the cause of the fire is not yet known, and no injuries have been recorded.
