City council asks for help for flood victims (7-30-20)

Leaders meeting this afternoon... lately the conversations pertain to covid- 19... today... a plead for help for those out of their homes and impacted by the recent southside flooding... last week's flooding..

And more rain the last few days has created several problems for many residents on the southend... and earlier this week..

Mayor bill mcmurray wrote a letter to governor mike parson... he has not heard back... and the flooding does not meet sema's criteria for state help... (sot, bill mcmurray: "from his office.")mcmurray says he's also reached out to senator roy blunt's office... and local represenatives are trying to help get a response from the governor... city council members now asking people to call the governor's office... the
