On the night of August 14, for the first time in five nights of protests, security forces did not try to disperse the protesters that held a peaceful rally at the Government House in Minsk, Belarus.

By 17:00, many people gathered at the government building on Independence Square in Minsk, where the CEC is also located.

The main requirement of the audience is a recount of votes.

Several thousand people chant "Army with people!" and " Conversation!".

The rally was peaceful and ended at 21: 00 with a minute of silence.

After that, the audience went for a walk along Independence Avenue.

During the rally on the square, riot police lowered their shields, many girls hugged the security forces and gave them flowers and balloons.
