Man dies after carbon monoxide poisoning

Officials say a Syracuse detective has died three weeks after he and another person were found with carbon monoxide poisoning on a docked boat in Sylvan Beach.

Person has died ofcarbr ing found uncscious on aboat tht happened along the canal, sylvad blair dodge was pronounced dead at the scene, september 20th.

36 year old william lashomb, a syracuse police detective, was taken to the hospital.

He died yesterday.

There was a portable space heater found on the boat....but the case is still under investigation.
