Delhi-NCR woke up to foggy morning on February 13. A thick layer of fog covered parts of Delhi and almost zero visibility was witnessed in the national capital. Even, DND flyway in Noida was covered with thick layer of fog. Similar situation was witnessed in Ghazipur-Ghaziabad Border as well. According to IMD, dense to very Dense Fog is very likely over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and UP on Feb 13 to Feb 15.
Delhi Police has deployed additional security in view of 'chakka jam' called by farmers. Police intensified vigil at city borders to deal with situation arising out of 'chakka jam’. Protesting farmers have called for a three-hour nationwide ‘chakka jam’ on February 6. Around 50,000 police personnel, Paramilitary and Reserve Forces deployed in Delhi-NCR region. Police said that at least 12 metro stations across Delhi have also been put on alert. Police will monitor content on social media to keep a watch on those spreading rumours. This comes after Republic Day violence that had left over 500 security personnel injured. Farmers agitating against Centre's three farm laws are set to block roads and highways from 12 noon to 3pm in a bid to intensify protest.

Videos of residents of G-21 apartment complex in Gurgaon Sector 83 protesting against a family for feeding stray dogs in the area has gone viral. The videos show a group of residents chanting and shouting slogans outside the family’s house. Policemen had to arrive at the scene to negotiate with the protesters and leave the family to enter their house. No case was registered in the matter. Watch the video.

A condominium in Sector 67 of Haryana's Gurugram has been declared a containment zone on February 27 amid coronavirus pandemic. Around 20 persons have been tested positive in Ireo Victory Valley. While speaking to media, the official of District Health Department, Jai Prakash said, "First, 3 cases were reported, after which testing camp was set up. Around 20 persons tested positive, so we declared it as containment zone. More tests being conducted."
Celebrities like cricket legend Kapil Dev and sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan received the Covid-19 vaccine on March 3. The duo got vaccinated together at the Fortis Escorts hospital in Delhi. Delhi-based businessman Rohit Datta spoke on how it felt to be the first Covid-19 patient in the national capital. Recalling his time in hospital, Dutta said he is excited to take the Covid-19 vaccine. “Initially, I was blank and didn't know about the coronavirus. I was in hospital for 14 days following which I was allowed to go home. I have registered all senior citizens in my family for the ongoing vaccination. Since I do not have any comorbidity, I will also be vaccinated later on. I am waiting for my turn to get vaccinated and I am very excited,” he said. The second phase of vaccination drive for age-appropriate population groups began on March 1 with the union health ministry calling out eligible people to get an appointment at respective hospitals in the country.
