Delhi Police Commissioner gets vaccinated against COVID-19

Delhi Police Commissioner S N Shrivastava received vaccine against COVID-19 at the Primus Super Speciality hospital in Chanakyapuri.

Delhi police had started the process of enrolling its personnel for the vaccination drive from December last year.

Around 86,000 police personnel have enrolled for the vaccination drive.

Vaccination drive for frontline workers which includes police, civil defence staff among others began in the capital turn by turn.

Police personnel who have been vaccinated are doing fine and have not shown any adverse symptoms. After the arrival of the vaccine, first doses were administered to frontline workers on priority basis.

The Delhi Police personnel have been working on the frontline since the outbreak of covid 19 pandemic, and are contributing in keeping the virus in check.
