An FIR has been registered against two persons for allegedly duping people on the pretext of raising funds for Ram Temple in Kanpur.

"Kanpur Police have registered an FIR against two persons namely Chandra Prakash Tripathi and Ashok Rajput, for allegedly duping people on the pretext of raising funds for Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya against fake donation receipts.

Probe is underway," said SP (South) Deepak Bhuker.
